Bryon W. Szojchet, Esquire has been practicing family law in Maryland since 2004. In 2011 Bryon started Bryon W. Szojchet Esq. LLC, a law firm concentrating exclusively on child custody between unmarried parties. Bryon worked for the House of Ruth Maryland Law Clinic in Baltimore City representing victims of domestic violence, to help them obtain a protective order, custody of children, and emergency family maintenance. After leaving the House of Ruth in 2006 Bryon was a sole practitioner practicing general family law before forming Bryon Szojchet Esquire. Helping families in stressful times is important to Bryon and is the commitment of Bryon W. Szojchet Esq. LLC.

Oya Oner Esq.

Attorney

Attorney Oya Oner is a native of Maryland and has been practicing law in Maryland and the District of Columbia since 1991. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Oner worked as a critical care nurse and obtained her master's degree in Nursing.

Ms. Oner began her litigation career working for an insurance defense firm. For the past fifteen years, she has concentrated her practice in family law and social security disability. She handles all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, pre and post marital settlement agreements.

When not working, Ms. Oner enjoys traveling, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her two Pekingese dogs.

Meir Goldman

Paralegal

Meir Goldman received his Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in January, 1979, his Master's in Education from Loyola College in May, 1980, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore's School of Law in January, 1988. He was given the honor of being among those chosen as "Outstanding Young Men Of America" in 1988 and listed in "Who's Who" in 2008.

For 34 years he worked for the City of Baltimore in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. First as a trainer then an inspector and finally as an attorney, he ensured that all City employees were working in jobs that were done with their safety and health as the first priority. He served as OSHA Counsel for all Baltimore City agencies, handling all Maryland Occupational Safety and Health cases filed against the Mayor and City Council from initial inspection through trial and appeals. Upon retirement from the City, he came to work for Bryon Szojchet Esquire as a paralegal helping clients through the difficult and emotionally challenging custody battles. Focusing mainly on composing pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. He also keeps each client's file up to date and serves as a link between client and attorney when the client's attorney is in court or engaged with other clients.

Christina Mendiola

Client Coordinator

Christina is a Colorado native who lives with her husband and children. She studied and worked for 10 years in the medical field, from working with providers in children's hospitals to client care coordination for seniors. Loving to explore her versatility in a variety of fields, she decided to leave the medical industry and grow her knowledge and experience in the Legal Industry.

As the Law Firm Manager at The Custody and Visitation Law Group, Christina assists attorneys on the day to day focusing on organizing important court documents, email, billing, and client correspondence.

In her free time she enjoys adventures with her children, painting and the outdoors.
